Hey guys,
i have got the iso and burnt to dvd
i boot from it and darwin loads then it just restarts
i tryed F8 and:
cpus=1
-x
-v
-f
-s
tohkernel cpus=1......
still restarting
i dont wth to do it may be with my bios.
my dvd is primary master.
my hdd is secondary master.
Here is my results from cpu-z:

and...
i have a external hdd and when i select boot from hdd it says:

• Myinternal hdd (im think this is 0)
• And my external (i think this is 1)

So if i want to install to my secondary hdd do i have to F8 and type:
rd=disk1s0
if i want to instal to the 1st partition???

Hiya there Jamiason this is a prebuild computer? whats the model? did you check if you have AHCI SATA Support? did you try another distro, like iatkos v5i?

and im guessing the AHCI SATA support is in bios

i havnt tryed another atm i used Kalyway coz my m8 has the (EXCACT) same pc as me and he used 10.5.2 and it worked so i obv its me doing something wrong coz the disk works on his pc

You should ask him what he did, and yeah your computer will work, check that and good luck

Did you check the BIOS man? AHCI Support, Enable XD Bit, disable onboard stuff like lan and audio

try this in darwin:

rd=disk0s1 -f

il do that in a se m8 coz im just getting rid of linux of my external drive (still formating its about 80%)
then i just gota run windows and repair mbr
but then il check m8
and...
are the drives ok as they are
dvd primary master
hdd secondary master?>>?

il just check in a sec m8
after my external drive has formated and i repaired my windows mbr

If your using IDE HDD, make sure your HDD is Master and Your DVD Slave, if is SATA it doesnt matter.

Try this in darwin:

rd=disk0s1 -f

il try "rd=disk1s0" but i think my external is disk 5 :

So would i have to put:
rd=disk5s0
if i want it on my external harddrive and the first partition?
