    if i wanna set the dvd to slave do have to change the bit on the back of the drive to slave or can i do without taking apart?

    How do i know if its SATA or IDE

    Hmm nope these disk1 to disk4 are SD and stuff rite? they dont matter, try:
    rd=disk1s0 -f
    IDE HDD on top, SATA on Bottom



    Usually IDE HDD have a leyend on top

    yep they are all card stuff il try rd=disk1s0 -f soon
    when my hdd is finaly formated and i repaired my mbr and i checked my bios =]

    97% formating atm and how do i know if its SATA or IDE

    i think they are IDE from when i put more ram in so do i have to just take the side of and move the lil thing to slave?(on the dvd drive)\
    and does the primary and secondary matter?

    Yeah have to move the Jumper in both, try google this, maybe youtube, these days are tons of guides there, good luck and careful k?

    ty m8 dw done lots of times. made pcs b4 just gunna repair mbr check bios change jumpers try code then il get back xD cya

    Hey guys
    my HDD = SATA
    my DVD = IDE
    i changed the jumpers of the DVD to slave
    and tryed rd=disk1s0 -f
    loads of codes went up then same problem it just restarted :l
    Heres my bios (they r pretty big so may take a while to load):
