I managed to install Kalyway 10.5.1 on my PC. During installation i didnot select any customizations. after the setup i installed nvinject. then when i rebooted, after the apple loading screen all i get is a blank screen. what went wrong?

Have you tried booting with -x -v it will give you some info on what happens before it crashes. Im guessing the kext it installed was bad or incompatable... The -x -v will give you more info!!

i dont think the kext is bad because when i boot in safe mode, the graphic card is recognised in system profiler and i can also set resolutions and refresh rates in preferences.
but in normal boot i get a black screen with mouse pointer. i can also move the mouse but the screen is black.

can u pls suggest something?

OK i have solved my graphic problem. My 512MB card was the problem. After flashing the ROM of the graphic card it was solved.
Now my graphic card is fully supported!

Now i have my ethernet and sound to solve.

My ethernet card is RTL8139D with vendor ID 1904. Now it turns out that people have failed to use this particular card.

If anyone has successfully used this one pls help.
