i installed iportable snow on my HP DV5 1060ee, i used a vmware snow leopard and added my physical hard disk to the vmware, and i used copycatx to install iportable to one partition. i added the chain0 line in boot.ini, it ran perfectly.

after installing Xcode 3.2.3 i was able to run xcode smoothly, but after rebooting i can't get mac os to boot. it is just stuck on the cursor.
i tried fixing the boot from vmware using the bootfix utility supplied in iportable snow image, still not booting.
