Hi I am trying to install iPC in my computer it is an Intel 965P-S3 motherboards with a E6300 processor. I am not sure what options to select on customize but my install is failing each time. Can someone help please?

Make sure you have AHCI enabled and SATA Native Mode enabled in your BIOS

Install Vanilla Kernel, Intel ICHx SATA, Seatbelt, Audio ALC883, Lan Marvell Yukon 88E8056, Your video card, PS2 if youi have ps/2 keyboard or mouse.

Which Video drivers, NJinject or those other nvdarwin ones?

Would changing these things have an effect on if the install is successful or not, because surely that's just copying files... Cause I don'd even get to boot up, just after about 20mins it says install failed.

Yeah it matters, if that doesnt work, try changing stuff, check if you have XD bit enabled in the BIOS, disable onboard stuff, check if you have AHCI support and try with that.

I tried again and got a kernel panic while installing. (No mapping exists for frame provider)

In my BIOS I can't seem to find any setting for XD bit. Also, when I enable any of the AHCI modes, the OSX installer wont detect the partition to install on....

Then one more thing, there doesn't seem to be an option to make a HFS_partition...

Oh dont use AHCI then, XD bit can be as Executed Disable bit, have to be around your power options without it cant run vanilla kernel

Your partition have to be erase it as extended journaled (HFS+) in disk utility

Hmm now I seem to have got it to install fine, but now when it boots up it doesn't get past the grey apple screen, I get that 'no entry (circle with line through)' thing.

When I boot up with -v The last message displayed is 'still waiting for root device'

What could be the problem?

Ok I enabled AHCI mode after install and now it boots up fine, but then while I am in the OS a message pops up each time saying you must restart your computer and then I have to each time.
