I'm running an Intel P965-S3 motherboard
    Intel E6300 @ 1.86 GHz
    XFX Geforce 7900 GTX

    I used iPC 10.5.6

On the customise thing I chose the:

    -Vanilla Kernel
    -Intel ICHx SATA
    -Nvinject 0.2.1 512mb VRAM
    -Marvell Yukon 88E8056
    -Seatbelt.kext 10.5.5
    -Azalia Audio
    -Patched USB drivers

Here is a link to the picture with what is included in the customize: http://www.majotphotography.com/Test....6/iPCList.jpg

At the moment with choosing those things I have to boot up with 'cpus=1 -legacy' otherwise it gives kernel panics....

Now my Safari isn't working as I said and it is jerky like there are no graphics drivers. There is an NTFS partition mounted fine, but there are also another two that won't mount, I would also like to get those working if it is possible...

    Thanks

Hmm for a core 2 duo vanilla should be ok, check if you have XD bit or execute disable bit enabled in the BIOS.

I can't find any sort of XD bit setting in my BIOS...
What are EFI strings and how do I add them....

And also what about Safari and the issue of mounting the drives...

Sorry for all the questions I'm still learning.....

Did you see the pic? you have to set your bios like that

for efi strings, use OSX86 tools or Efi Studio

My Bios is set like that... For the DMG mount thing, I don't get a kernel panic, it just says it can't mount the disk
