i installed 10.5.6 and the installation went fine. but in the bootloader, my hard drive does not show.
in the bootloader it says to press any key to boot from the dvd and when i don't press any key, it boots into my hard drive. but when i remove the dvd, and try to boot it says that it cannot boot.
when i press F8 in the bootloader, only my dvd drive is shown and not my hard drive.
what is wrong?

my network card rtl8139d is in a pci slot. how do i get it to work?
