hello all this is my first post on this forum and i do not know too much about hackintosh but i do know enough to be curious about it i have been having a series of issues whenever i try to update my version of snow leopard here is what i have done

i am using this install cd
Mac OS X Snow Leopard [Gold Master 10.6] (download torrent) - TPB[Gold_Master_10.6]

with this boot cd
Dell Snow Leopard Boot Disks - Works On Most Dell Machines
(i used the one with all extras)

at this moment i am unable to get to my bios settings mainly because i don't know how and secondly because i am trying to install snow leopard at this time
what i do know is that i have a dell 1545 inspiron pentium (i dont know what that means but i have my theories)

i am able to complete the installation and get to the desk top (i dont know all the mac terms) but when i go to update OSX i get the please restart your computer error

if anyone is willing to help me please post and if you need more info let me know.
