Installing this OS has been a nightmare. Requesting help.
First, specs. I have a Dell Inspiron 1521.
Processor AMD Turion 64 X2 1.7GHz
Memory 1GB of 667MHz
Hard drive 160GB
Graphics Integrated: ATI Radeon Xpress X1270
Chipset ATI 690T/600SB
I have tried various installers, some more successful than others. The furthest I have gotten is on Kalyway 10.5.2 and Ducky.
On Kalyway, I install it successfully, but when it tries to start I get nothing but a blank screen after the initial loading processes.
On Ducky, after the initial install I got the desktop with nothing loaded and the rainbow loading curser constantly turning (I left it on for about 30 minutes and it never stopped)
I have tried many things, -f -v, -f -v -legacy, -v -legacy cpus=1, installing with AMD patching on Kalyway, nothing ever worked.
What I ask of you is suggest me a build and possibly a guide to go along with it so I can finally have this think working.

hi,guys..
i think you guys should try iDeneb 10.5.5 . boot it with -x32 cpus=1 (if you need to). But first, make sure you set your BIOS ready (ACPI enabled, SATA set to AHCI , PCI enabled...). I have tested on my AMD , runs great at first try..
good luck.
either way,the

is the winner..
