Default Installing Leopard, yes Leopard on a Sandy Bridge board... possible?

    Hello guys!
I have successfully installed Snow Leopard and Lion, on my Gigabyte Z68X board, but i have some old hardware i'd like
to use, or at least to try on this uber fast machine, so was wondering if that was possible... or if someone had done it...
i have tried several distributions and it fails for different reasons, so i thought i can't, can anyone tell me if i should forget
about that idea? Thanks in advance!!!

p.s. i've searched a lot for this but everything leads me to Snow Leopard!
