About LinkBacksHi All,
I have an installation error. Everything works fine, DVD boots well and everything is going according to plan. Until I get an error message when I am around 80% into the installation process.
I get this error message.
"The installer could not verify the contents of the "mediafiles" package"
I am then given the option to restart and try again which I do with no luck. I have tried everything from changing things in the BIOS to trying different kernels.
Any Ideas?

How do I find my specs if I have no OS installed?

You dont even have windows installed @.o? you are telling me you dont know your processor, ram, hdd, at least the basic eh?

I burned the disk at 4x speed and others have downloaded the disk I downloaded and it has worked. I am guessing it is something wrong with my pc
Any Ideas?
Yes I have checked the info,
nothing out of the ordinary it seems.

In the BIOS disable onboard stuff like LAN, Audio, etc, and check if you GTHE SATA LEGACY OPTION, if you do, disable it too, good luckLast edited by icchansan; 11-30-2008 at 09:21 PM.
