okay, going back to the original thread topic. i decided to buy Left 4 Dead 2, since my dad and uncle both play it, and the 7900 lagged a bit, where the 7950GT blew it out of the water. so ive decided im keeping the 7950 in. when i changed kext IDs, it crashed the system, i couldnt get it back up, so i had to reload.

I tried Snow Leopard, but it didnt work, it kept hanging at 'ioatacontrollerdevice blocking bus' error. it DID boot up into OS X once or twice though, and Ran SMOOTH AND FAST, until it KPd when i ran marvins AMD utility.

so back on leopard. i have full resolution and everything on the 7950GT, however, no QE/CI. I have heard about patching DSDT for graphics enabler to work in the bootloader, (i have the latest chameleon installed). graphics enabler does NOT work for me. back to base one.
