Installing Hackintosh. General Problems
Hello. I have two laptops, and two Questions:
Laptops: Acer aspire one a150
Acer Travelmate 7510
Status of Installation:
Acer Aspire one a150: Has Kalyway 10.5.3 installed (10.5.2 and then upgraded with the combo thing) No Wifi or ethernet, still waiting for the Dell 1505 card to show up.
When ever i try to upgrade to Official update 10.5.4 (i have vanilla kernel installed) it gets stuck on boot, and i have to reinstall.
More detailed boot error: What happens is no matter what bootflag i use, it either says that i have to restart, or just gets Stuck at a point where it says something about kernel.
Acer Travelmate 7510: Has an AMD Processor, so i had to use Kalyway or Iatkos v7. First i tryed kalyway, no succes at all. then Iatkos v7, still nothing. Then i tryed to make my USB Kingston 8gb Datatraveler Bootable using Restore in DIsk Utility (the way i installed it on Acer Aspire one) and now i get past the error Using cd (Something about a file (.plist) not being in the right place). But when i then start with bootflag -v or CPus=1 -v it gets stuck at:
"AppleNforceATA: Nvidia nForce MCP 51 Serial ATA by Medevil (CMD 0x30b0, CTR 0x30a4, Irq 23, BM 0x3090"
Anyboddy tryed this before and know what to do ?
