So tonight i took the plunge and attempted to install OSX leopard, i have two different ISO's burned iDeneb 10.5.5 and Kalyway 10.5.2

I've had no luck with either of them trying multiple times to get the buggers to work - each has at least installed but i can never get it to actually boot into the OS once it installs.

I thought i would have a simpler time as my hardware is kinda ideal for this.

Intel E8400 @ 3ghz
6GB DDR800
DFI Dark P35 TRS
Sata DVD
80GB Sata WD drive

What are the ideal steps i should be looking at to debug this, i attempted use -x and -s but it was a bit hard trying to look up solutions to the problem on my iPhone

How did you customize your installation? do you have AHCI Support? You have XD Bit enabled? in the BIOS

I didn't customise it at all - i attempted to install with both AHCI and plain IDE mode.

I am unsure about XD Bit mode, is that a bios setting if so it will most likely be set to its default.

hmm didnt customize...

lets try this, when darwin appear, Press F8 then type:

cpus=1 -v

If it get stuck or you get any error post back, or take a photo, not too big

I found it that little bit harder to figure out as it never seemed to return an error at all

Ok, just got it reinstalled running with CPU=1 -v and its just blanking my screen like an unsupported res? Could it be bad graphic drivers?

It's a Nvidia 8800 gts 320mb

It looks like I need the nvinject patch? But how do I apply this??
