Default Installed Leopard Fine Then I Get Errors!

I just installed Leopard using iATKOS 5 everything went perfectly fine. I can boot fine as well however I am using a Compaq Presario C700-EM and I get the error after the welcome video.

I get the error BEFORE YOU BEGIN. There is no keyboard connected to your computer. Please connect your keyboard and I also notice that the mouse isn't working althought it WAS working during installation!

Do I need to reinstall Leopard and install certain settings or is there anything else I have missed out?

    I need help!!

(I do not have a usb keyboard and do not want to get one there must be another fix!)

    Thanks In Advance!

i have a similar problem, it asks me to confirm my keyboard. i do. then it asks if i want to do the migration, i dont have a mac to hook up with firewire to migrate, or any of the other means so i choose to continue and then it sits for about 30 seconds and goes back to the first page asking to confirm the keyboard. doesn't reboot the computer, just reboots the "first time start up thing". since it happens there i cant create a new user, so i cant get to the login screen. i can get it to boot single user mode, but nothing else.

also, to even get the video to work i have to boot in safe mode. i selected the exact driver for my card during installation and it seems to be out of wack, i get a checker board. i get some odd movement if i move the mouse, but i assume i am where i am in safe mode...stuck at keyboard confirmation screen.

    try this

Boot into the Leopard Install DVD and hit F8 then type -s to enter the single user mode
    and type
    /sbin/fsck -fy
    /sbin/mount -uw /
    passwd root
    touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
    reboot
