    Question Installed...but restart loop

    Here are my specs:
    ASUS Eee PC 900A - Atom 1.6 GHz - 1 GB Ram - 4 GB SSD--> Replaced with 16 GB SSD

    Came with xandros linux originally, with some tweaking and the help of other posts managed to install ideneb 10.5.5. Currently, installation was successful but before I could get to filling in my personal info, naming computer, etc. the computer needed to restart and is now on a loop. Did the install several times both checking and unchecking fonts, languages, etc. Even played around with the onboard lan, audio, etc in the BIOS. Any help would be appreciated to get this baby running. First big project like this- hate to see it go to waste. Thanks!

    What are the errors you get when you do a verbose (-v) boot?

    mofish-
    No error messages come up. Whether booting from the external DVD drive or the hard drive, the system loops. Unfortunately, even when hitting F8 I am able to type in prompts (i.e. -v, -s, -f, -x) but nothing registers. With tweaking I was able to get out of the apple screen getting stuck... though now I'm stuck here with the loop

    icchansan-
    Thanks a lot for the link.. but yeah, since I cannot type anything into the command line, looks like the suggestions I came across will not work. Any other suggestions guys?

    Thanks a lot for the prompt replies.
