Default installation ud5 with gtx 295

i have read so many thread, saw videos... my god my head is spinning..
looks like there many different install method and its very confusing.

i am reading some success instaling SL with the gtx 295 but my question is do i need another card to install the os for the first time?

also how do change the efi string or install kext without the card working, maybe i have to install SL on the hd with another mac and try to install the string and kext just ny navigating in the drive with the other mac?
i am just so confuse on how to do things and in what orders...
its kinda like the chicken and the egg... how can i install the os without a video card?

anyway here is my set up
    ga ex58 ud5
    couple 1.5tb sata hd
    gtx 295 coop edition

i wish there was a super easy simple install guide.
in read DD's guide about the ud5 on insanely mac... can understand half the stuff, is everything worked on the terminal or do you have program to chage the efi string and install kext?

anyway! thanks for your help clarifiying the complicated world of hackintosh!!
