Installation Informations
So. I'm new on this.
I've tryed many times to install Leopard 10.5 on my pc. but it never worked.
First I was tryin to install from an original Leopard OS CD.
but it never past the boot. Then i figured out that the real Leopard doesn't work directly on the pc, that a patch was needed.
So I found the Hackintosh forum by a mouth ago. but, seriously, i DON'T understand a thing about the installation steps that you guys show here.
I need some informations before I'm good to go another shot.
I'm tryin to install leopard in a Acer 7720.
It's a Core 2 Duo with 2.0Ghz. 2Gb DDR2
160Gb HD.
my questions are..
what do I need to instal hackintosh on this machine ( please, try to simplify ) ?
what kind of patch is this that i need to make Leopard work ?
what about the drivers ? how do I put the Acer's drivers into leopard ?
the keyboard of the pc and the mac are different, how is this issue solved ?
where can I find all the files I need to make this happen ?
i guess that's all. sorry bothering you guys. I'm sure there's many threads askin you the same things. but I'm not understanding you. I really want to run Leoaprd on this Acer.
Thank u all since now. ^^

Seems like it can be support it, read before start installing, check the hcl, google some guides.
1- Just need a distro, try with iPC or Leo4all, you can also install retail OSX, using 132 bootloader, there lots of guides out there.
2- You have to know your hardware to know what patched you need, so check everything you can about your own hardware.
3- Windows drivers? nah it wont work, just install the drivers from the distros, if you hardware its not there u can google it or ask for it here.
4- Whats the difference? the Command key? replace it with the windows logo...
5- You can get everything you need in the forums, just google it, but I think with the latest distro you'll be ok, there lots of drivers on them.
P.S. check the HCL to check if someone else got success with the same PC or similiar.
Good luck

2 - I'll post my hardware as soon as I download Everest.

I got iDeneb's distro. 10.5.5 (v1.3) ( then upgrade to 10.5.7)
and iPC's distro 10.5.6 PPF5.
but I need to know which kexts to pick on the "customize" part.
my specs below:
- Mobile DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo T5550, 1833 MHz (11 x 167) Instructions: x86, x86-64, MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3
- 2Gb DDR2 (2 of 1Gb)
- Chipset: Intel Crestline-GM GM965
- Graphic: Intel GMA X3100
- DVD Drive (ATA)
- 250Gb HD (ATA)
- Broadcom NetLink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet
- Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection
which drivers should I pick with these specs ?

ok. my bad. I got iDeneb's (v1.4), not (v1.3). and it's Leo 10.5.6. not 10.5.5
I tried to install yesterday. and when I got to customize part, I picked just the essential pack + chipset kext.
My problem starts just before the first boot. It shows the apple bootscreen (the grey screen with the spinning wheel) for 2 secs and then it restarts, again and again. bootscreen for 2 secs and restart.
how do I solve it ? what are the right kexts for my pc ? ( specs on the previous post )
