    Question Installation Help if possible

Hey, here's my situation, i've had OSX perfectly running on my Dell 6400, i bought a new desktop, with the following spec, and no matter what i try, i've had no success i.e. it hangs on boot from the dvd,

    Hardware:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
HD:500GB 16MB cache SATA hard drive
    RAM: 4GB DDR2 667MHZ PC5300
    M/b: ASRock 4Core1333-GLAN
    Graphics: NVidia 8500GT 1GB

So im just wondering whether any of you have had any success/ is it possible to get it running on this system with that spec & how i would be able to install sucesfully i.e. install method etc.

Cheers, if you can help your amazing!

    Thanks again.

When you start the computer up you will see the Darwin Bootloader. You will be able to enter boot options. Use the boot-flag -v to boot into Verbose Mode which will display useful information about the boot process instead of an Apple Logo. Post back with the last line it hangs on. Then we can trouble shoot from there.

Try also using the boot-flag cpus=1 so something like this:
    Code:
    -v cpus=1
Also it looks like there may be some issues with ACPI. But let me know if there is any change with the above.
