hi, i want to install ideneb v1.5 10.5.7 but my dvd drive is a samsung sh-s183l...could it be that that drive didnt work with the ideneb dvd?

because i get the error message SAM Multimedia: READ or WRITE failed, SENSE_KEY = 0x06, ASC = 0x29, ASCQ = 0x00

On my Notebook (IBM T40p) )the DVD works fine so the DVD is working...

My System:
EVGA 680i SLI
EVGA 8800 GTS 512MB
Intel Core 2 Duo 6600 2,4GHz

Hope anyone can help me...

Is there any special BIOS-Setting wich i have to choose?

I think its a Problem of the sata DVD-Drive...i think i must buy an ide Drive to get this work...

hi there people just wondering if someone can help as im at the end of my rope.
have being trying to install osx86 now for over a week but no matter which dvd i use always ends the same with kernel panic just after darwins prompt, the best i got was the apple logo with the ipc 10.5.6 version, heres my specs, i really hope someone can help, thanks in advance..

Mobo: Asus pk5-pl-am
Ram: 4Gb Corsair CM2X2048
HDD: 320gb seagate sata
dvdrw: LG GSA-H54L

Graphics and sound card are onboard
have older Maxtor 80GB Ide Hdd For spare
