Tried distributions : aitkos v7, iPc

Problems reported in verbose mode:
-FireWare unable to determine security mode
-appleNforceAta: found 0 units
-"Still waiting for root device" message (looks like a main problem)

Tried Solutions:
-changed SATA to AHCI in bios
-set "-v -f -x"
-set "rd = disk1s3 -v -x -f"
-set "-v -x cpus=1"

Notes:
If I don't go in verbose mode ("-v"), everything seems to boot up nicely, then when white screen with gray apple shows up, it freezes and the "blocked" sign is displayed.

Help would be appreciated. Thank you.
