Inspiron 1720 Noobie questions
First of all I would like to thank the creators of this project
Scenario:
I tried differrant versions of the OSx86 installers and the one that ended up working for me is iATKOS 5i.
Bear in mind I am totaly new to this.
I ran the install with several differant options and it would lock up every time. Then I did the install with pretty much all options checked and it worked!!! However the laptops, (Dell Inspiron 1720) keyboard and mouse don't work, but a USB keyboard and mouse do work. Also the sound doesn't work. The OS sees it but no sound comes out. I've been doing a lot of reading but I am just not putting together how to add or check the drivers etc.
Thanks,
Sam

To get ps2 working install this, next time you install make sure you install PS/2 from ACPI tab, now for your audio I need to know your audio card chipset.

Thanks again for your help.
Audio Chipset: Stac 92xx C-Major HD Audio.
It also didn't recognize the video.
Video chipset: NVidia 8600M
Not that it matters because I use a USB Mouse... but the touch pad was not recognized. But just thought i'd mention it.
Thanks again for all your help. I haven't been this giddy since I bought my first ipod.

For video check here,
Your keyboard works but not your mousepad? weird
For audio, you need tarugas patch
Then drag your Audio Bump into the tarugas patch (frog icon)

2. The greyish "You need to restart your computer screen.
