Default iDeneb v1.3 boot error screen/still waiting...

Hi, im having problems installing iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 on my Pc and hope you guys can help me.

The installation process went fine (it says "Install Succeeded", but when it came to boot it up for the first time, it fails.

I tried many configurations but it always end up with the apple logo loading and then gives me an error square like this:

I also tried to install with the patched iso but it stills give me the same problem.

Also tries the command -v and after a long plain of text it keeps saying: Still waiting for root device...

So someone knows how to solve this problem?

    Here are my system configs:

MSI P6N SLI Platinum, nForce 650i
    Intel Core 2 Duo E6420
    Corsair 2GB DDR2 Memory
    XFX Geforce 8600 GTS 256MB DDR3
Hitachi 160GB Sata II Hard Disk

Im totaly new to this whole OSX86 thing, so i would be very grateful if you fully guide the solution for me.

    Thanks in advance

Check your BIOS, I am unfamiliar with yours but if your storage settings are set to ACHI, try switching it to IDE and reboot. This used to cause the same problem for me until I did this.

    Hope it helps

Did you patched with nforce chipset and try with another kernel cuz your mobo dont support vanilla, pick speedstep or modbin.

bpower: Sounds like you are a little further than me. I have the same MB w/ a 64-bit processor. Have you gotten it running yet?

Hello!Need help too!I've installed iDeneb 1.3 on my Pc Asus P5L-MX, DualCore D915 2800MHz, onboard video. The installation went fine, tried also without any patches-softwares, but after restart, immediately after bios, get the message boot0: error!tried with setting the partition active, but the same! It's strange that when I'm seing partitions, the one with OSX installed is shown as MsDos partition, even if I erased it with Hfs journaled..any suggestions?

    Hello everybody.
I'm trying to install iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 on an AMD machine, that's based on an ASUS m2n-e SLI MB. The installation goes well, but the boot hangs saying "Still waiting for root device".
This particular MB has no support for AHCI for SATA in BIOS, or I couldn't find one.
Has anyone managed to install iDeneb on this MB?
    TIA.

    Hi,
    Ive got the same problem.
I set AHCI(as IDE) in the BIOS and i switched off all onboard parts.
I used the voodookernel. I typed that :
    boot : voodookernel -v cpus=1

Is that correct or should I add something?
    My System:
    AMD X4 9600 Black Edition
    Gigabyte GA-MA78G-DS3H
    1GB DDR2-RAM Corsair
    BenQ IDE-Drive(DVD)
    Maxtor HDD(Sata)

    Thanks,
    Markus

Yeah, I forgot to mention that I have two SATA hdds on that board.
Anyway, I've managed to boot into iDeneb installation on an external usb WD hdd, using the install dvd, passing the rd=diskXsY during boot. This install also reported the "Still waiting for root device".
    @mc151
Try passing the rd=diskXsY during boot, where X is the number of the disk, and Y is the number of the slice that iDeneb is installed on.
