Here it is
Thanks for the 6min video - I only needed to see the last 2 seconds tho
Glad you filmed it, as it showed me exactly what you were doing wrong...
DO NOT SELECT ALL PATCHES AND DRIVERS!!!
ONLY SELECT DRIVERS FOR YOUR EXACT HARDWARE, AND NEVER TWO THAT HAVE THE SAME KEXT FILE (eg. 2 different USB fixes).
I have a similar system to yours, and if you actually read the info at the beginning of the install, it says VoodooXNU kernel is default and DO NOT INSTALL THE AMD PATCH if you select VOODOO kernel! This is your first problem. The ghostbuster icon at startup means WAITING FOR ROOT DEVICE, which means it cannot find the boot disk.
A good starting point is to FULLY FORMAT your hard disk (this will take more than an hour most probably). Also, these new OSX versions support EFI emulation and GUID partition scheme (this also gives a slight performance increase), when you go to partition, select the Options button, and select GUID partition scheme.
Install a base system, VoodooXNU kernel and one chipset driver for your motherboard. This will most probably be an nForce chipset, but a quick google search for your exact machine make/model and "specs" should reveal the chipset without too much trouble.
Being an AMD, you will almost certainly need to boot and press a key: type in:
cpus=1 maxmem=3072
(I don't know how much ram you have).
This should get you into the OS, with software VESA graphics. If all seems to be going well, you can install Diabolik's 9fXX graphics driver (a forum search here will help).
I just got an ASUS M2N68-CL up and running with an nVidia 9800GT, 4GB RAM, nForce n630a/7050i chipset, VIA 1708b HDAudio, etc etc. working with iDeneb 10.5.6 and some drivers off the forums.
If you follow these steps, you should get OSX "RUNNING". How far you go after that is up to you. I hope you have a good supported graphics card
PS. I also got an Intel ASUS machine -CL motherboard running too! Two of the least supported machines running 99.99% perfect.
Cheers, and email me if you hit any hurdles.
