Slow startup on iDeneb 1.5
I already have a perfect installation of iPC using Leopard 10.5.6. The only issue I faced then is slow performance due to faulty Ethernet driver (nForce). I used another RTL card (without disabling the built-in one) and my AMDx2 motherboard (Asus M2N-SLI) worked like charm.
Having an extra hard disk, I was tempted to install iDeneb 1.5 to get the latest 10.5.7 and hopefully fix the issue with installing Java 6 (needs 64 bit platform). iDeneb installed fine but the startup is SO SLOW. It takes minutes to boot the system. Checking with the -v option it shows several attempts to load something I couldn't figure out since the screen scrolls really fast.
A believe some how that this problem is related to nForce based motherboards. I have googled for similar issues.
Any one can help please?
