IDE OR SATA Devices (For Ideneb v1.4 10.5.6)
hi people, I am new here & I am thinking of installing Ideneb v 1.4 10.5.6....so I hope someone can help me.
I am having a PC custom built, the Spec is as follows:
Asus Minitower Barebone Terminator3-P5G31A Black (Unsure What Motherboard is in it though, but only has 1 IDE Slot)
Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 BX80571E7400 Wolfdale Core 2.8GHz FSB 1066MHz 3MB Cache 10.5x Multiplier Retail
1GIG DDR2 PC2-6400 (800) Major Memory (X4)
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD3650 512MB PCI-E 2.0, 1000MHz GDDR3 GPU 725MHz 120Streams 2xDual Link DVI-I/HDTV Fan Graphics Card
IDE OR SATA HDD & DVD RW
The thing is, I've heard stories that U can only use IDE Devices to install and run Ideneb v 1.4 10.5.6, then I heard that your DVDRW HAD to be a SATA, & Your Hard Drive Had To Be IDE, one set to primary master, the other secondary, is this true ?
Can anyone shed any light on this as I need to know what to buy to run this Ideneb v1.4 10.5.6
Thanks in advance - bipolaric(newbie)
