Exclamation iATKOS wont install on my machine

    Hey guys,

Sorry for double post, net problem and it double posted!

Basically i got a Alienware Aurora specs below and i have made a seperate partition for the OSX Leopard install on my Window 7 as i want it to dual boot, i have tried both iATKOS_v7 and iPC version and have no luck with it. I reboot the machine and hit f12 i then wait for it to load up and it loads darwin and i type in -v then hit enter, some text comes down the screen about 5 lines then my machine just restarts and loads into windows, no install screen nothing.

    PC Spec
    ------------------
    intel i7 920
    intel x58 motherboard
    9gig DDR
    ATI 5870
    1TB sata HDD

I know the ATI 5870 aint going to work once in OSX but i was willing to purchase a ATI 4890 to run OSX.

Any help would be great please!!!

just found out that when installing with i7 , u must type command "busratio=20" or "busratio=20 cpu=1" as an example.

Minihux Have you tried setting your Sata Drive in the Bios setup to from IDE to AHCI? Because when I did this it fixed that problem your having and was able to start going into the installation, however I still haven't got it working for my system either because I came across another problem after the installer finished, it wouldn't let me boot Windows 7 anymore (like it corrupted the windows files or something even though I was using a different partition) But if that does happen to you, keep a copy windows handy with you just in case that happens as you can select to repair your operating system with the windows installer (without having to reinstall and lose anything). Also make sure that when you do make a separate partition that you format it as Fat 32
