iATKOS v7 on dell gx270
I followed the youtube instructions but changing the bios video setting to 8meg instead of 1meg trick didn't work,I had to install an agp video card(v3.0)(another detail they neglect to mention). The audio is apple ac'97 instead of voodoo.
The only oddball thing now is I can't edit the date and time, that option is greyed out.I had to rely on the internet to set that.
The built-in ethernet was detected automatically by the installer,I didn't choose any in the customize menu.(intel 1000 wasn't listed anyway)

bios rev A07
The bios revision must be at A07 to be able to utilize the built-in video.
I got to wondering after I converted another model dell with the same chipset and the built-in video worked on that model. The only difference was the amount of pc ram and the bios.Increasing the ram made no difference, upgrading the bios did.
The chameleon v2 boot screen will be distorted on multi-boot systems if you have a usb stick stuck in at boot also, you have to select based on the icon because the words are unreadable.I just leave the usb stick out until after booting.
For multi-booting systems you don't have to load osx86 first,as long as you have a way to select the active partition after loading osx86.I have a bootable msdos7.1.0 cd with fdisk I use to select the xp partition then use the chain0 method to multi-boot.
