Do you have that saying i quoted?
Ok, if it doesn't have any place for you then it can't be done. See if you have any other way to enter those options.

OSX problems would be very hard to figure out IF you can not pass a command to output the error messages.

One quick step that you can do, if you want to leave your windows7 out for now until getting OSX up, is to put the iAtkos DVD back in, go through installation screen, don't select anything BUT just Chameleon boot loader, and then select install. That way you could work on OSX and then after it's up and running then choose your preference of boot Utility.

    You mean in customization?

maybe I did the installation wrong? this is what I did to install iAtkos:

    1. the boot screen I cant press -v instead I have to type -v busratio=20 cpus=1 (anyone know why?)

    2. loading2....

    3. Welcome installation screen -> press continue/next

    4. before agreeing to T&C, I went to disk utilities, select the partition i created, erase it (mac journaled extended or watever).

    5. Done that, close it, continue on with installation.

    6. Click Customization and tick few boxes that I dont really know...

    7. Continue on... loading2 installing...

    8. Done! restart

    9. Boot into mac os -> hangs at apple logo

    10. restart insert windows 7 and do repair thing so I can boot my win 7 again.

Finally: Win 7 works, Mac Os doesn't

Did I missed out on anything?

    Specs:
    Processor: Intel core i7-920
    Motherboard: Asus P6T Deluxe
    VGA: ATI RADEON HD 8340
    RAM: 4GB DDR3

    Please help mehh =[

    Alright.

Step 1, you need that all the time, one reason is i7 core cpu and v7 need that to enter installation. Your boot option afterward still be cpus=8 busratio=20.

Step 6, make sure you select your options accordingly. Make note for later reference if you're not sure. Select the essentials, fixed/patches, driver SATA etc.

Step 9, if you can boot into mac then your OSX installation partition is CORRECT. With chameleon you can boot to windows by selecting the volume named System Reserved. So step 10 is not needed.
Again at step 9, enter your boot options before hit enter to boot OSX

    -x -v busratio=20 cpus=1 (or cpus=8 to have OSX perform better)

IF you can make it through the installation process successfully then MOST LIKELY OSX should be running IF you made your selection CORRECTLY.

Good luck and post your result. I will be offline shortly.
    So try it out.

Hmm So should I put cpus=8 way back in step 1? and where's the part where u get to choose to install chameleon?

EDIT: Btw The only thing I need is iATKOS and Windows 7 disc right?

hey ratvn I can actually type -v/-x after the "press any button to boot start up option" it was so small... so do i try that or -v busratio=20 cpus=1??

EDIT: ok I typed in -v busratio=20 cpus=1 then everything loaded up then Im stuck on "before you begin" and theres no keyboard connected to your computer... how to fix this? (on my laptop)

EDIT 2: ok so I got it working by pluging in my USB keyboard... how do you fix this if you dont have the keyboard?? I cant connect to internet to? how >.<!!

Also...do i need to press -v busratio=20 cpus=1 all the time when i boot to mac? (seems like it if not it hangs on apple logo). Lastly how do I update to Snow leopard??

    Thanks!

    Congrats on your work
    Well done job.

Could you update me with the steps you're through so I know where it's standing at.

Do you boot with Chameleon or BCD? And did chameleon take you back to windows?

I broke my system boot chain and have been working on it

I use bcd now and when i click mac os i will be directed to chameleon boot up screen, then the "press any button to start startup screen" thing.

    2. Press any button then theres the 3 options again
    3. Choose mac and it hangs at apple logo
    4. Choose any other and nothing happen (have to boot from bcd to go into win7)

    5. So to boot mac have to type -v busratio=20 cpus=1 in startup options.

Then bam i go to mac

questions: im realllly new to mac and no nothing... Hiw to update to snow leopard? (iatkos v7 is v10.6.7 i think)

and how to install that drivers i missed out on installation menu??

For drivers/kexts you could go to kexts.com to download.
Also get Kext Helper b7, OSX86 Tools for kext installer.

    iAtkos v7 is Leopard 10.5.7.

For PS2 keyboard and mouse, get VoodooPS2Controller.pkg version 0.98
