Default iAtkos updated to 10.5.6 - USB Problems

I cant figure out this, so plz help me out here. I installed IATKOS 10.5.5 suscessful, updated to 10.5.6 worked too. BUT, my usb does not work, so 2nd time: i back up system.kext. After update 10.5.6 i copy system.kext back to where i copied and go to disk utility to fix disk permistion. Everything seems oki but when i restart comp, it shows a shutdown with many languages "hold down power button for ..." i tried few time but does not work.

I am st 10.5.5 now but want to update to 10.5.6. IS THERE a safe way to update? plzz share. THANKS ALOT in advance !!

Man you cant update to 10.5.6 using distros, you have to install using retail with DSDT patcher and EFI v9, heres a guide to do it. Read about how to install retail here with DSDT Support, good luck

P.S. @.@ I read, seems like iAtkos v5i have Support for 10.5.6, nice

P.S. The thingy saying that you have to reboot have to be Panic Kernel, what kernel are you using?

    Try this:
    Open terminal and type:
    sudo –s
    (give password)
    chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/System.kext
    chmod -R 775 /System/Library/Extensions/System.kext
Close terminal and open disk utility
Choose your osx partition and select "repair disk permissions"

    And Reboot

    Hello icchansan,

I did like you said, it does not work either so i just install 10.5.5 again. I have another favor though. I have a wireless Dlink DWL-520 Ver E. the chipset base on everest is PRISM 2.5 802.11b controller. Do you have any driver for this? If so, plzz show me where to get and how to install this. Thanks alot
