iAtkos 7.10.5.7 & Intel DP43TF Weird Troubles
Hi!
I have run into weird troubles with the following setup:
iAtkos 7.10.5.7, Intel DP43TF (P43 Express chipse), Core2Quad, 8 GB RAM, MSI GF 9800GT PCIE 512MB GDDR3
Additional data from Intel data sheet:
The ICH10 provides the USB controller for all ports.
Ethernet: Intel 82567V Gigabit Ethernet Controller, Intel 82801JIB (ICH10)
Audio: Intel 82801JIB (ICH10), Realtek ALC888VC audio codec
At first, I looked at:
HCL 10.5.7 - OSx86
and found that it should work with EFI/vanilla kernel.
iAtkos installed OK, but after installation I found the following artifacts:
1) USB mouse & keyboard were OK, however, USB flash stick was not working at all (on iMac it was 100% OK). All USB buses were listed in system profiler. FireWire OK with External HD.
2) Video has strange video redraw glitches.
3) Sound does not work at all, although Voodoo sound runs.
Shutdown is VERY slow.
There are a lot of options in installer, looks like I missed something. Anyone can suggest what could be wrong?
Thanks in advance for any help.
