    Hello everybody!
    my laptop machine is kennex U50SA:
    MOTHERBOARD ECS U50SA1
    Intel (R) Celeron (R) CPU 550@2.00GHz
    1GB RAM
    VIDEO Mobility Radeon HD 2400
    ISA BRIDGE SiS968 MuTIOL Media IO
    Ralink WLAN rt73usb
    WEBCAM usb Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd. [4F2]
    IDE Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] [1039]
    ETHERNET 191 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter [1039:191]
    HD SATA Controller / IDE mode [1039:1183] 120GB
    AUDIO Azalia Audio Controller Silicon Integrated Systems Driver: Intel HDA

    I'm intending to use the hackintosh iATKOS 5i, it would be a good choice for testing? any other recommendation?

    hmm please read here, then try to install... all your hardware seems to be compatible, if you dont get it working, I will help you, but first prepare yourself, read a bit

    my hd is not being found. specifications:
    product: SATA Controller / IDE mode [1039:1183]
    vendor: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] [1039
    120GB.
    what should I do?

    Maybe its not compatible, if you really want this, try with a external HDD

    btw did you format your partition as extended journaled right?
