Default [iAtkos] 2.0i > Install problem Extention "com.apple.driver.ACPI_SMC_platformplugin"

Well after thinking about it for a while I got annoyed enough with Vista to try and install Leopard. My System:

    Laptop
    Asus F3SG AP062C
Which is an: Intel Core 2 Duo T5750
    ICH8 (I think)
    Nvidia 9200M G

Any other hardware questions feel free to ask .

Have had SATA both in 'enhanced' and in 'compatibility' mode set in my Bios as I read SATA can give problems. I'm trying to use iATKOS 2.0i.
When starting the install I hit f8 at the Darwin screen to start in verbose mode which returns (on crash/hang):

    Code:
Extention "com.apple.driver.ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin" has immidiate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi components; use only one style
My apologies if this is a known problem to which I should be able to find the answer easily, I tried it in the search function (and in google) and couldn't find anything spefic. Thanks for any help !

    [edit]
Well I do find a few things among which:
    http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.p...t=#entry588200

Not ready to start any firmware/bios flashing yet but replacing the file in the iso is something I could try, anyone know how (via Vista, or via OpenSuse 10.3 which I have installed on my PC)?

Like the post above, this fix only works when its already installed. If you're installing for the first time like me and the user above, then that fix won't work. Or will it? I can't see how typing those commands will make any difference when booting from a DVD seeing as the last command you type is 'reboot'. You just get stuck in a loop.

Yes, for this bug on DVD Boot nothing to do...

(You can try boot with -s on DVD, on prompt do: kextunload -t /System/Library/Extensions/AppleSMC.kext, before this: exit) and continue booting on DVD.

( I don't know if this work...but, if somebody can try, inform me please )
