iATKOS 10.5.7 freezes at grey startup screen
Hi I just installed leopard iAtkos release 10.5.7 which i think is the newest. The installation went fine but when i restart it goes to that grey apple startup screen and does nothing both keybaord and mouse don't work at this point. I tried going to utilities and installing chameleon and the only difference is now theres this cartoon lizard loading screen where it gives me the option to choose which disk i want to boot then it goes to a somewhat different apple startup screen where it freezes again. I have a pentium 4 2.5ghz with 1gig of ram and my motherboard is an msi 845E max (or MS-6566E as it says in dxdiag). Can anyone please help me out I want this to work so badly.

Ok well i think i covered some ground but still am not able to start this. I checked off the .7 kernal (not the .5 one) and now when it boots it goes to the grey startup screen and this time the circular lines show up and are moving but after about 5 seconds one of those circles with a diagonal line appears in the center of the screen i assume this means its not going to start. If i leave it alone long enough will it infact start or do i need to do something else in the customize options?

No it's not going to start. Try booting with '-v' option for diagnostic screen and/or also try booting in safe mode with '-x'.
ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe
AMD Phenom II 540
2X2GB OCZ Reaper HPC 8500's
EVGA eGeforce 9800 GX2
OCZ GameXStream 700W PSU
Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1TB HD + WD Caviar 320GB HD
Triple Booting XP, 7, & Leopard

Ive done the diagnostic screen before it runs through a lot of text then the screen goes black and it freezes.

Ok i've covered more ground I selected the non windows ide driver in customize and now when i start it up it loads with the spinning lines in a circle and the circle with a horizontal line never appears but its been loading at this screen for like 10 minutes. I dont understand what more i need to do. I ran the verbose boot and this time the last thing it says is unable to mount /dev/dlsk0s1 (status code 0x00000047).
2 orphan files removed
this dlsk0s1 drive its talking about sounds like my main harddrive where i have windows installed i am installin osx on a sepearte drive some im not sure why this would be a problem

iATKOS freezes on grey startup screen
Hi Fellas,
I am a newbie to the iATKOS world, though I have installed JAS OS X on AMD machine before. My current system config is as follows:
Intel C2D E6600 CPU
Intel DG33 Chip based MOBO
2 GB 800 Mhz RAM
No video card - I am trying it on the onboard 3D Graphic Chip (DG33 based)
Samsung DVD Writer.
The changes made in the BIOS are:
Disabled Serial Port
Disabled Floppy
Change SATA to ACPI
Checked Suspend Mode to S3
With this config, the setup freezes on the initial Grey screen with the Apple Logo. -v option loads few things and then freezes. For the initial few seconds of the inactivity, the num lock work but even that stops responding.
Is there any thing that I am missing here or do I simply accept that it cannot be installed on this configuration!
Appreciate any help on this matter.
Cheers
