i7 tutorial needed
sorry if one was already posted but i could not find it (search is not your friend when all your keywords are short). anyway...
he's what i'm working with. this afternoon my new Dell XPS 435 MT was delivered. now the first thing i always do is start from scratch and zero out the drive. i've always been a an Apple fan, i even used to work for them. but this Dell was to good to pass up. from what i could find no one has gotten OSX (any flavor) to run on this machine. and if they have, they haven't posted about it. specs...
6 gigs of ram
and a GTX 285
from what i've seen the i7's are now working if a legit copy of OSX is used. so my question is where do i go from here? keep in mind that i do want to dual boot Vista 64bit and will be starting from a blank hard drive. i will have an additional computer to access the internet and get more files and downloads if need be. so point me in the right direction oh great Hackintosh gurus.
also i see a ton of links pointing to munkeys tutorial which i think might be close to what i'm looking for, but insanelymac.com seems to not be loading for me. not sure if the site is down, or if it's just me here at work.
