Default I7 Gigabyte 10.5.7 Cinebench lower then 8 core Mac Pro

    Hi,
I have setup an I7 920 Gigabyte UD5 with OS X 10.5.7. I was able to get the 8 processors to show up in Cinebench by inserting busratio=20 in the preference file.

However I think my system is not running to maximum speed. My Multi core score in Cinebench is about 18k max. I ran it on an 8 core Mac Pro and it got 21k average.

Is there something i am missing that i need to configure to enable the processor to run faster?

thank you so much for the help.
