Discuss i tried this now stuck again at the Installation - Hackint0sh.org; ...

    Default i tried this now stuck again

    Specs
    Intel® 865G chipset, Intel Pentium® 4 processor
    4 DIMM slots (SF chassis only has two); Non-ECC dual-channel shared2 DDR SDRAM system memory (333MHz or 400MHz) 2.5 ram installed
    Integrated Intel Extreme® Graphics 2
    120GB 7200RPM Serial ATA

    Integrated ATA/100 Dual Channel, Bus Master EIDE Hard Drive Controller

    I had a successful install of XxX 10.5.6
    Reboot fine
    now stuck at apple backround and spinning thing forever

    Tried verbose mode and
    got following
    mac platform successful installed

    NO ERRORS

    do I need to change something???

    This route is much better than trying to update, as it could have some hardware drivers/kexts issues with certain distro releases.

    Try to boot with -x -v (and -f if needed) for possible error message.

    If you went through installation successfully, then mostly it should run if custom selections are correct.

    So recheck your selections again. If still no go, then try the minimal approach, selection of system core/essentials only.
    Clear your partition every time for a clean install.

    People also have good luck with iDeneb 1.6 10.5.8, and that would put your Leopard right at the latest 10.5.8 without much system updating.
