Default I can't get the grip of this [n00b]

Okay. I can't afford a Mac Pro and I need a faster Mac for my little home studio so I was thinking about building a hackint0sh.

I found this guy who is selling his PC with these specs:
    Intel Quadcore 6600
    2GB 667mhz
    Asus P5k Pro bundkort
    Radeon graphics
    480 watt powersupply

(I don't know what the graphics card is yet)

First of all - are these things compatible with Leopard? I do believe I read somewhere that the P5k Pro is compatible.

    Next step: How to install?
Is it just as simple as installing on a real Mac? I know I have to download the Kalyway distro, but what else?

I haven't been able to find a n00b tutorial on this topic.
