On humble, bended knee, could somebody *please* help a noob out? :)
Hi Hackint0sh community
I have been trying to get a working install of Mac OSX on my machine for so long now, and I have just about given up. I have tried Kalyway, and had it 'kind of' working - i.e. booted and worked but no audio and no QE / resolution options for video, plus it wouldn't boot without the install DVD. Then I read about Boot 132 and this sounds ideal as I have a genuine Leopard install disc, but I simply do not know what I'm doing with regards to creating / finding a Boot 132 flavour that will work for me. This is the machine I have:
HP Pavilion a1320a
Motherboard: ECS RC410-M
CPU: Pentium4 517 (P) HT 2.93 GHz, 533 MHz front side bus, Socket 775
Chipset: ATI Radeon Xpress 200 for Intel Processors
Video: Nvidia 7600 GS 256MB
RAM: 1.5GB
HD: 160GB SATA internal but want to install to a new 1TB External USB drive I bought especially for this purpose
DVD Drive: IDE
When I try the 'original ISO with project kexts' from here, the grey apple boot screen comes up, and the spinning wheel starts but just spins forever. If I use the -v command, I get screens of text for about 30 seconds, then the screen just goes completely black and it happens so fast that I can't see what the last line says
I guess what I'm hoping for is for somebody to point me to an existing ISO that I can use to install from my existing Leopard disc, or otherwise I'd be *eternally* grateful if someone could build an ISO for me that would work with my rig? Seriously, I have read through this site and insanelymac and osx86 wiki and I have just gone round and round and round but it is all just over my head! My wife and baby boy haven't seen me for days while I've been trying to get this working. I'd really, really appreciate somebody helping me as I simply can't afford a genuine Mac and I'm sure my hardware should be good enough!
Thanks so much in advance... happy to shout beers somehow for whoever can help me out!

If you want to install i recommend you to follow munkys guide, if you wanna try with distro go with the latest distros like iAtkos v7i or Ideneb.

Are you talking about this guide here?
I tried to follow this but munky is talking about using a modified boot 132 disc, and I can't understand how you do that. Something about putting patched kernels and kexts inside the .img file, but this is all way over my head. Is there an existing boot 132 iso somewhere that would work with my system? I understand the rest of what he's saying about using the command rd(0,1)/mach_kernel.patched -legacy rd=diskXsY to get it booting, but it's the actual boot 132 disc I'm stuck on.
If some kind soul could build an ISO for my system I was be so grateful... or tell me what to do in complete and utter noobie speak!
Thanks so much

hmm theres a generic 132 boot disc in the distribution section here by slinger, try using that one to boot into leopard retail disc.
Now if still having problem with retail try with distros, iAtkos v7i let you update like a real mac and have lots of drivers
