It would be better if you could post your relevant specs, related to OSX installation, for assistance.

You could wait for someone with the same pc to help you out. For others to assist, then you should post your specs (not a link to some advertising feature that are not relevant to OSX installation) as related to chipsets, cpu, video etc, as well as what you have done with what version of OSX.

People (who would spent their personal time to help you) sometimes may not want to go searching for you model specs just to help you install OSX on your computer.

    Cheers

Unfortunately, others are not sitting in front of your computer so it's hard to put all of those in the picture.

    1. What upgrade disc? Retail DVD? What installer?
    2. What happens when it didn't work?
    3. You will need to know your chipsets as well for custom selection.

For these many posts, I still don't get what version of your installation and what problems happening beside it did not work.

Tell you what, try to get a copy of iAtkos S3 v2 Snow Leopard 10.6.3 and try to install it. That is the newest distro release just came out. For starter it would be easier to work with.

okay sorry i havnt been online in ages i decided to get iPC_OSx86_Leopard_10_5_6_Intel_AMD_SSE2_SSE3 and burned the iso to a dvd [although i removed some of the languages so i could fit it on the disc]
when i boot from the disc the first time i tried it nothing happened i left it for about 30 mins still nothing had happened so i decided to switch it off
now when i try to boot from it, it boots into windows as if there was nothing on the disc
