Howto Install HP DV6654us
I am an experienced Linux user and have been enjoying the befits of the family imac. But I must say this has me stumped trying to get this going on my HP DV6654us notebook. I have had no issue with Ubuntu or Suse Linux and SATA drives but I think that is the issue here. I have attached the hwinfo if someone would be so kind as to help with the setup info I may need.

Thanks for your reply, This not really helpful because I can't see optional HD it only. I tried rd=disk0 it worked once and never again on reboot. I could use a little more step by step for this one please.

Can you tell me how in the world you got Intel 4965ABGN to work with OSx, I have a Acer 6920 I have the OS X 10.5.7 working perfectly without a flaw, but I can't get two hardware items to work, first Intel Pro 4965 abgn and Realtek HD Audio, please help, as I hate using the system for the office work only.
