Default How simple is an update?

I'm running Kalyway 10.5.2 on an AMD. Is it possible or advisable to update to 10.5.7 through the Apple updater? My gut tells me no, but I'm looking for some confirmation or past experience.

Thanks and lemme know if y'all need more specs.

From my experience of updating from 5.6 to 5.7. I'd say . . . do NOT do it straight of the updater. When I did mine, everything seemed fine, up until the password prompt, the screen was white and had black lines that were sporatic.

    This may help you.
