Hmm, go to users and check the startup programs, you should be able to disable, but dunno if that is a good idea.

Hey I'm new on this Hackintosh..the only thing that I need to be a happy Mac user is to be able to use my tv tuner in MAC.... Is it possible to run media center in Parallels and be able to use the TV tuner??
PD:
INstalled iPC 10.5.6 then update to 10.5.7..HP Elite m9060n.
By the way I'm using a DirecTV set-top box..

I'm thinking about updating to 10.5.7 too, but I'm too scared to do it right now because I am taking finals and I can't have my computer crash right now. I'm gonna try it out soon. I'll post my results! If you guys do it too, let me know how it worked out.

What are your specs? Also, how did you update to 10.5.7? Any mods or just a straight update through software updater?
Cheers

Dear Spring from your specs you can definetly put osx on your machine just mod your bios with v.5.17, like icchansan said, and use ideneb or iatkos because i had the same problem as u with iPc. message me for more help.
