Default How do I image my mac partition?

I have finally installed osx86 on my pc.IM SO HAPPY. My question now is how do i image my hard drive partition(just in case something bad happens). Does mac osx have a built in program that can do the job.if not how exactly can i do it. i have acronis true image home 2009 but when i try to image my osx partition it tells me that i need 25.6GB(the size of thewhole partition) of free space. Its wierd because the installation only takes 5.4GB(roughly). ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED
    THANX IN ADVANCE

Will it work if i try and save the image(mac osx)to an external hard drive where i keep my windows backup. I ask this because i dont know if mac osx is compatible with NTFS(external hard drive). Would there be a problem. Would i need to reformat the external drive or will it work that way that it is now.

For time machine you will need the whole disk, but if you need Image disk, I think you can use just the space, I never done in NTFS partitions, but to be able to write one NTFS partition you will need Paragon NTFS, good luck
