    Default Solution

The only thing that works on this computer and specs is the Leo4all distro. I tried V2 which worked.

There is also a video which helped on my PC:
YouTube - Leopard Dual Boot PC Problem [Fixed]

Make sure to use gparted to format to hfs+ BEFORE running the install disk.

Also to get past parts that are stuck, flip the network toggle on and off.

    Unhappy Nevermind!

Try this one instead: [Guide]Mac OSX86 on HP DV6000 - The PA Team

Get the V3 instead, I'll try this one and get back to you.

The V2 won't detect your hard drive in the install.

    Default Nope

    V3 wouldn't even boot up.

It got stuck at the "waiting for root device". Which leads me to believe that this computer only works with pre-patched kernels or PPC.

This means that only iDeneb 1.5.1 and Leo4all will actually boot up.

Also, this may help: [Guide]Mac OSX86 on HP DV6000 - The PA Team

I will try iDeneb 1.5.1 and get back to you.

    Default Nothing

This computer will not load ANY distros of Mac OSx86.

The PPF Patch lets it boot. The problem comes with the installer and disk utility not seeing the internal/external hard drive which gets you stuck at the installation page.

Any PPF distro will boot on this computer, but WILL NOT install.
