hello!
well i must say i really am new to all this and what im trying to do is install OSx on my HP dv7-3169wm laptop wich has the following aspecs:
AMD turion II Ultra dual-core 2.50 Ghz, 6.00 GB of RAM and about 600 of gb in the HDD currently running win 7 64 bit ver.
ok so what i did was burn a iATKOS v7, dvd and try to boot it from there, it gets me as far as the first apple screen and then it stops, so i dont know if im missing something, i dont know if its because its an AMD processor, so if anyone could help me with this , i'd really appreciate it ,i rather use ubuntu then win 7, but i really want to try out leopard.

I think it's because you're using an AMD processor. You have to using an Intel.

i am having a problem like this myself except i dont see anything the screen just remains black
