i have bought a nice configuration for my new hackintosh , but when the installtion of the OS is finished i have the message : still waiting for root Device: after the reboot,

i'm seaching for the ssolution for 3 days ago and i didnt find a solution please help,

this is my configuration

MB : asus p5k/epu p35 pcie
cpu: intel core 2 quad q6600
hd : 1 tb seagate sata2
graph card : asus gf8600gt 512
ram 4g ddr

i have installed with LEo4all V3

Check this in your BIOS:

Go into your BIOS by hitting the DELETE key upon booting up
In BOOT
- Boot Device Priority
- Set DVD to be first

In Advanced
- Onboard Devices
- Disable J-Micron Controller

In Main
- SATA Config
- Configure SATA as AHCI

If after installation it doesnt boot type this when darwin appear:

cpus=1 -v

Try installing again if the error still there, you can 2 stuff:
- Install retail with DSDT Patcher using 132 Bootloader
- MOD your BIOS
