Default Help with OSX VMWare installation

Hi, I've had a good look around and couldn't find an answer to this - hopefully I'm not repeating something or missing anything really obvious, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm trying to install OSX on my laptop, but it keeps hanging on the following error:

localhost System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Frameworks/ATS.framework/Support/ATSServer[151]: Folder Manager is being asked to create a folder (cach) while running as uid 0
These errors also occur before it hangs:

localhost diskarbitrationd[44] unable to probe /dev/disk0 status code (0x0000000B)

ReportCrash[54]: mkdir() failed to create /Library/Logs with error: Read-only file system
ReportCrash[54]: Too many crashes in rapid succession! No crash report being written for pid [various numbers here]
    Specs:

    ASUS Notebook X58L Series
Intel Pentium Dual CPU T3200 2.00GHz
    2GB RAM

    VMWare Workstation 6.5.1
KALYWAY_LEO_10.5.1intel_SSE2_SSE3 iso mounted with Alcohol 120%

Have I missed something really basic here? Again, any help at all would be greatly appreciated, and apologies if I'm just being dim!

Installing OSX on VMware its not like installing Linux or Windows man, you know to read a bit, check PCwiz site for more info, if you dont know what your doing you can download a vmware image with OSX ready or try OSX Live, you can check a the tutorial section too, theres a sticky for vmware installations, good luck

And btw I dont think you have enough RAM to try OSX on VMware
