Help needed with iDeneb 1.3 installation
I've been trying to install iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 on my system, and I can get through the installation but after the reboot i run into problems. Here is my system:
- Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L Motherboard
- Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13GHz CPU
- nVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS
- 2GB Corsair DDR2 1066MHz RAM
- Maxtor 250GB SATA HD
I've tried the install a few times with different patches selected, but each time after the installation completes i reboot and end up with this screen:
I've tried typing -v to get into diagnostic mode, but once that's completed it just goes back to the setup program from the DVD. If i take the DVD out of the drive before typing -v, it goes through diagnostics but then the screen goes blank. I've also tried typing -x to get into safe mode, but it doesn't seem to change anything. I've been working from this tutorial, but i can't figure out where to find/how to install drivers for my 8600GTS card, or if the 9000 series drivers would work.
If anyone has any ideas where i'm going wrong, or if you can tell me which patches i need to apply in installation, i would be extremely grateful.
How did you customize? this mobo should be easy to install...
