Hi all,

i am trying to run mac os leopard 10.5.2 on my laptop usin a virtual machine that i have set up usin VMWare.

I have downloaded the "Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd.iso" file & burnt it to a dvd, i have tried to install it but all i get are some errors after it installs the network structure then a greyish/white screen but nothing happens then.

i think the errors are about a kernel, i hope you can help me with this.

*** i do have an original mac leopard CD but this isnt recognised by my cd drive for some reason

(* Just so then you dont think iv not attempted anything & am being lazy *)

i have tried burning the image file & mounting it but still to no look.

i also have had a look around for other users with the same issues but i cannot find any, they all seem to boot from the CD & then the mac installation screen appears.

it is possible to run it using the VMware but i have not manage to get it yet,

Well its a VM machine so i can set it to what i want within reason.

But heres my laptops spec:

Dell Lattitude E550 Running Windows XP
2xIntel Core 2 Duo CPU (P8400 @ 2.26 GHz)
2GB Ram
110GB Hard drive (but i also have an external hard drive if i need more space)
Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family

Hmm check the tutorial for vmware in the tutorial forum, but it gonna be soooo slow... your laptops seems compatible for the real deal tho ;D
